A rather cloudy morning with some patchy light rain about. The afternoon brings a mix of sunshine and showers for all, with a few heavier outbreaks developing. Maximum temperature 20 °C.

Tonight:

Any showers remaining in the west of the Province soon clearing to leave a dry evening and night with good late sunshine then clear spells. Light to moderate breezes. Minimum temperature 11 °C.

Saturday:

A cooler day. West mainly dry with the best of the brighter spells. East rather cloudy with some showers, a few turning heavy, particularly around the east coast. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Sunday and Monday mainly dry with occasional brighter spells. Rather cloudy with patchy rain for Tuesday.

Most parts of the UK are expected to be fine and dry at the start of this period, then a broad northwest to southeast split is likely to develop in late June. The wettest and windiest conditions are expected to be in the northwest, with spells of rain at times which may be heavy in places. Temperatures will likely be near normal or slightly above. More settled in the southeast with conditions drier overall, although some rain will probably spread from the west or northwest at times. There is also the risk that isolated heavy showers and thunderstorms could develop at times. Temperatures are expected to be above normal, perhaps with some hot spells in the southeast.

A good deal of dry weather across the UK at first, but becoming more changeable at the start of this period with an increasing likelihood of showers or some longer spells of rain. This pattern continues through early July with changeable conditions bringing a mix of fine and dry periods and some outbreak of rain or showers, which could be heavy and thundery at times. Temperatures are likely to be above average.
